Monk is a smart ice bath and cold water therapy app. Offering smart cold plunging with a beautifully compact design, self-cleaning ozone filtration, guided breathwork, temperature control, plug and go set up, and incredibly powerful insulation for indoor and outdoor use.

1. How does the reservation process work?
To reserve your Monk, you pay a $499 deposit, which secures your spot in the delivery queue and locks in a $1799 discount off the final product price. Reservations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once your Monk is ready, we’ll notify you and charge the remaining balance before setting up your delivery date and time.

2. When do I pay the remaining balance?
Once your Monk is ready for delivery, we’ll send you an email notification. Your payment method on file will be automatically charged for the remaining balance, and then securely deleted for your safety.

3. Can I pay off my balance early?
Yes, you can! Simply find your order confirmation email and click on "View Order." From there, you’ll be able to select "Pay Now" and complete the checkout process to pay off the remaining balance ahead of time.

4. What if I change my mind? Is my deposit refundable?
Absolutely. Your $499 deposit is fully refundable. If anything changes between now and when your Monk is ready to ship, you can request a refund of your deposit.

5. How do I know my spot in the delivery queue?
Our system operates on a first-come, first-served basis. By paying the $499 deposit, you secure

your place in the queue. The sooner you reserve, the sooner your Monk will be delivered once it’s ready.

6. Will I be reminded before you charge the remaining balance?
Yes, once your Monk is ready to ship, you will receive an email notification from the Monk Team. After that, we will charge your saved payment method for the remaining balance.

7. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods available in our store. Your payment method will be securely stored for charging the balance later.

8. Can I change my payment method after reserving?
If you need to update your payment method, please reach out to our customer service team before your Monk is ready for shipment. We will help you make the necessary adjustments.

9. How long is the reservation period?
Once you place your deposit, your reservation is valid until your Monk is ready to ship. We’ll keep you updated on delivery timelines so you’re always in the loop.

Is shipping fully included?
Yes, it includes direct delivery, placement within your home/yard + removal of all packaging. Ready for you to plug & plunge via our simple installation guide.

How does it work? A few weeks before we deliver, we’ll contact you to select a date and time convenient to you. On the day, our delivery team will position your Monk where you want it in your house/yard and remove all the packaging. Ready for you to fill, plug & plunge.

This process usually requires 2-3 delivery people to maneuver your 220lbs ice bath and about 30 mins depending on your property.

When will my Monk be shipped?
We will be fulfilling orders in Spring of 2025.

Wherever you want to proudly put your Monk, there are a few things to consider to ensure smooth access.

Dimensions
We’ve designed it to fit through doorways, but spaces with narrow, tight corners and stairs should be given thought. Its dimensions are L63in x W27.6in x H33.5in.

Weight
Monk weighs 243lbs when empty, and can hold up to 300 litres of water (allowing for displacement depending on the size of the user). 

Access to space
Monk’s grill at the back of the unit needs fresh air in order for our integrated cooling unit to work efficiently, so we recommend leaving adequate space around it.

Ambient temperature
Monk has been designed to work in temperatures from 33.8°F up to 104°F. Lower cooling efficiency is expected if the ambient temp is over 104°F.

Storage temperature
When the ambient temperature drops below 32°F, it's not suitable to use the chiller as the components will become hard. You will need to fully drain your Monk to avoid freezing in the pipes. Full details here.

Maintenance
Your Monk comes with a 20 micron filter. We recommend you change it monthly depending on usage. We offer filters via our website.

Thanks to our powerful and natural ozone sanitisation, you only need to change the water every 2-4 months, depending on usage. We’ve made changing the water simple: our cooling unit has a reversible flow value, so it will automatically pump the water out via the hose that comes with your Monk, straight into a sink or drain. No manual bailing out water with buckets!

1. Will I fit in Monk?

Monk has been designed to be compact, yet spacious enough to accommodate a wide range of body sizes. Athletes as large as 6'6" and 115kg (like Anthony Joshua) find Monk comfortable to use. We've included three different fill lines internally (fill to 170L, 200L or 230L) to accommodate for all sizes of human.

Monk features a unique hybrid design where users are in a semi-reclined posture that is neither fully upright nor completely horizontal. This space-efficient posture allows us to maximise comfort while fitting a variety of body types. Additionally, this position increases hydrostatic pressure, which can enhance circulation, reduce muscle swelling, and promote faster recovery.

2. What are the seat dimensions?

The seat inside Monk is 53cm in width x 32cm in length x elevated 12cm in height. The complete length of Monk when seated inside is 85cm creating space for your legs to stretch out in Monk.

3. How does Monk keep the water clean?

Monk has a dual stage filtration system, with the water continuously circulating through a sediment filter and being infused with ozone. The filter’s job is to keep the water clear of physical particles and debris, and the ozone sanitisation’s job is to keep the water free from bacteria and pathogens.
